Synopsis:
“The Invention of My Beauty” is a monologue about a man who, faced with the pain and wounds caused by loss, has decided to create fictional universes throughout his life as escapes towards beauty. Philosophical and delirious in his fantasy, he questions his mode of existence, as well as the mode of existence of the world, according to hegemonic cultural patterns. He investigates uncertain landscapes, passions, obsessions and dreams wanting to find the house, the nest, the wound and the scar. It reaffirms creation as a sublime act, which paradoxically gives it freedom and also condemns it.
